Marcel Aubut, Order of Sport recipient, inducted in 1999, born in St. Hubert, Quebec, talks about his influence in ice hockey, work with the Quebec Nordiques, and work with the Canadian Olympic Committee. Marcel recalls enjoying playing sports as a youth. Marcel explains that he wanted to be a lawyer and be involved in sport. Marcel discusses being the president of the Quebec Nordiques and being involved in the World Hockey Association and National Hockey Association merger. Marcel also talks about Rendez-vous '87. He talks about ice hockey players Peter Stastny, Peter Forsberg and Joe Sakic and their influence on his management career. Marcel discusses the NHL ceiling cap and the 1982 lockout, the 1995-1996 Stanley Cup, and the 100th Anniversary of the International Ice Hockey Federation in 2008. Marcel also talks about the introduction of regulation overtime and shootouts. Marcel Aubut, récipiendaire de l'Ordre du sport, a été intronisé en 1999 et est né à Saint-Hubert, au Québec. Il parle de son influence dans le hockey sur glace, de son travail avec les Nordiques de Québec et de son travail avec le Comité olympique canadien. Marcel se souvient qu'il aimait beaucoup jouer à des sports lorsqu'il était jeune. Marcel explique qu'il voulait être avocat et être impliqué dans le sport. Marcel parle de sa présidence chez les Nordiques de Québec et de son implication dans la fusion de l'Association mondiale de hockey et de la Ligue nationale de hockey (anciennement Association nationale de hockey).
